The thick-walled heat-shrink tubing with internal adhesive and a shrink ratio of 3:1 is suitable for the most extreme applications, such as on land or offshore. Thanks to its large wall thickness, the shrink tubing offers optimum protection even in extreme applications. Thanks to the internal adhesive, it can even be used underground. The inner adhesive also provides protection against moisture. The chemical and electrical properties are retained.

PROPERTIES:

Heat-shrink tubing waterproof thanks to high-quality internal adhesive

Good fire protection properties: Flame retardant, low smoke development
Good chemical resistance: Resistant to all conventional liquids.
Resistant to weathering (due to carbon content in the sheath), rain, salt water, contaminated water, transformer oil and hydrocarbons (also non-corrosive/ also copper).
Elongation at break: approx. 350 %
Dielectric strength: approx. 10 kV/mm
Tensile strength: approx. 12 MPa
